Nucor implements QMOS Caster-Level 2 at its Nebraska Plant in November 2021, replacing the existing in-house application. The new system offers advanced features such as live casting operation visibility, seamless integration with QMOS (Level 3 system), material quality evaluation and dispositioning, and automatic work order and length change based on Cut sheet. QMOS Caster-Level 2 tool enables greater efficiency and better-informed shop floor decision making.
